Marshview Park Master Plan
The Marshview property is a 90 acre +/- parcel in the oceanfront planning district and it is the largest remaining open space within this district.
The park is anticipated to include a dog park, staff building, restrooms, practice fields, trails, open spaces, picnic shelters, etc. The City has received a Recreational Trails Grant for the main spine of the Trail from Marshview Drive to Virginia Avenue. Due to the naturalized and wooded condition of the site special attention must be given to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Principals.
The scope of services performed have included site analysis, cultural and historical inventory, site master plan concept development, surveying, wetland delineation, and development of the construction plans for the main trail spine.
