Waterside Drive
The City of Norfolk contracted with Land Studio to implement the Waterside Drive Phase 1 Streetscape Improvements This project required coordination with several other City consultants that were working of various aspects of the project and a fast response to have the project complete before the Op Sail 2012 event in June.
Services included construction plans to establish walkways and planting beds to replace a 35-year old fountain, new sidewalks, plantings, irrigation, and lighting along both sides of Waterside Drive, and placemaking for a future public art piece.
The project was completed on time and provides a welcoming, attractive gateway into downtown Norfolk.
